What this site is

Tulum City Guide is an independent editorial guide to Tulum, Quintana Roo. It is not the official website of the Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia (INAH), which runs the Tulum, Cobá and Muyil archaeological zones, the Comisión Nacional de Áreas Naturales Protegidas (CONANP), which runs Parque Nacional Tulum and the Sian Ka'an biosphere reserve, Grupo Mundo Maya's Parque del Jaguar, the Ayuntamiento de Tulum, Parque Dos Ojos or any other park, gate, hotel or transport operator, and it is not affiliated with any of them. We are not a tour operator, a travel agency or a ticket seller, and we take no payments.

Accuracy and dates

Opening hours, closed days, admission prices and tour details are read from official and operator sources on the date printed beside them. They change — sometimes overnight, and often for a strike, a state visit, a restoration or a religious holiday. Always confirm on the official site or the operator's booking page before you travel, buy or build a day around a figure you found here.

We give no warranty that the information is complete or current, and we are not liable for a missed entry, a wasted journey or a decision taken on the basis of a page on this site.

Bookings are with someone else

Every booking you make after leaving this site is a contract between you and the operator or the platform, on their terms. Availability, prices, tickets, refunds, cancellations, safety and the experience itself are theirs. We hold no reservations, cannot change or refund one, and cannot make commitments on anyone's behalf.
